Magic Moments

I was sitting at my art table, captivated by two colors Pthalo Turquoise and Pthalo Blue Green, creating swirls of brilliance on my pallette. As my focus softened I felt like I was being pulled into the colors, whisked into the memory of a cool crisp winter evening in the Pacific Northwest. It was dusk, a full moon already high in the sky glistened on freshly fallen snow making everything llook bright. The deep blue sky danced with tall green trees. I was enchanted by a hushed stillness and a watchful guardian with a face as round as the moon. This is the silent momentt just before he spreads his wings and noiselessly swoops right in front of me as he flies to another location and a fresh perspective. As I return to the present, I dip my brush in the magical colors that inspired this memory.
